Welcome to Antigua Palma Hotel, a noble house completely renovated and decorated with local materials, such as Ikat fabrics, marés and some stones from Binissalem. Some original elements have also been preserved, like the forge of the balconies and the typical Mallorcan shutters. The house invites you to discover Palma as the dynamic city of Mallorcan nobles, merchants and travelers who brought exotic products from distant lands.
In the center of the medieval city, next to important palatial houses, Antigua Palma witnessed the commercial activity from the era and of the life of the noble families that occupied the original building such as the Ferrer-Quintana family, that remodeled the building in the XVIII century. The most outstanding elements of the house are the arc of the entrance and the baroque style patio, that have been conserved and carefully restored. The vault of the lower floor deserves a special mention , built in Marés stone and dated in the 17th century.
The hotel is located on a busy street of the old Jewish quarter, a few meters away from wall promenade surrounding the City. A place where travelers came and go, loaded with merchandise and stories told on the Silk Route.Walk through these streets and stay in Antigua Palma, so you can get to know Palma de Mallorca the way the old travelers of that time did.
